Focus on discipleship, cross-cultural relationships & service
-SAFETY- Please pray for safe travel and safety while we are staying
there. There has been violence recently in Nairobi, Please pray that God
would cover us.
-HEALTH- Please pray that our team is free of illness. Pray that the
Enemy would not use sickness to discourage our efforts.
-COURAGE AND BOLDNESS in loving people who are different from us, and
in sharing the Good News without fear.
-PEACE AND JOY in our hearts for what we are doing. Pray that we may
delight in doing what He commands.
-TEAM RELATIONSHIPS- Pray that our team comes together. Pray that we can
be honest with each other, encourage each other, and hold each other
accountable.
-CULTURE SHOCK- Pray that as we immerse ourselves in a new culture, that
we would be sensitive to our hosts and be courageous to give up the
things we hold dear for the sake of spreading the Gospel.
-SPIRITUAL WARFARE- Pray for protection against discouragement. Pray
that we would not believe the lies the enemy feeds us that would make us
want to give up. Pray against hopelessness. Pray for peace. Pray that we
would grow close to God in this time and that we would have effective
ministry.
